30 Days of Character Development - Days 17, 18, and 19

17.) What’s your character’s desk/workspace look like? Are they neat or messy?

18.) Is your character a good cook? What’s their favorite recipe, whether they’re good or not? (Microwave mac-and-cheese applies.)

19.) What’s your character’s preferred means of travel?

Malla’s work area is always neat. You learn pretty quickly not to have a messy table if you are mixing up ingredients that have dangerous effects when mixed carelessly.

Malla is a decent cook. Nothing spectacular, but it is always filling and decent enough tasting. Her favorite thing to make is a stew because it’s the most like potion making. It is her tastiest dish.

Malla prefers to walk so she can see as much of the world at her own pace.

Derris is messy in his home space, but keeps his accounting and such books as tidy as he can. More often than not, Malla fixes it up after him anyway.

Derris is a terrible cook. Just awful. Literally the only thing he can cook that is palatable is beans.

You can’t be asking this question. Seriously? Boats. Duh.

Ashln is neat when it suits her. If no one is available that she can coerce into cleaning for her, she will keep her space clean on her own. She’s just not as likely if there’s someone else willing to do it for her.

Ashln is a great cook. Everything she makes is delicious. Her best recipe is a twice cooked fish in sauce. The temple she was part of was near water, so they had a lot of fish to cook with.

Ashln likes covered litter’s the best, since they protect her skin from the sun and keep her feet soft. However, ones wants don’t always meet with one’s needs. More often than not, Ashln is on foot traveling as a bard. She is comfortable on a horse as well, as her family had a few.

Like the title says. The only problems that I can think of is that I would have no idea of what to do and I have no money to get the materials.

I really like the idea of having an ocarina that is custom, made by ones own hand, and even in a key that they wanted. And it just doesn’t seem like an easy thing to just pick up. Oh well. Maybe in the future I’ll be able to give it a try

That would be crazy. Very neat, but yeah, I bet it’d be hard to get the materials for that.

Yes. I think I had this dream early HS or late middle school. I was walking on a walking/running track, a sandy one. I was a boy and there were a few friends with me. The track was next to a forest. I had this very large red cloth. Whenever I grabbed all four corners it made my float up so I could see above the forest. I kept going up and landing a few times when a minotaur suddenly came out of the forest.

That’s when I woke up.

If I ever forgot who you are, or have to be reminded of conversations we’ve had, or forget important facts about you, PLEASE don’t be offended. That’s just literally how bad my memory is.

I had to make a spreadsheet for myself for the people I would talk to on the DA pixel doll chat room.

I had a boss once ask if I had a memory disability.

I will be watching TV, it will switch to a commercial, and I will forgot what I was watching.

My memory is shit.

I suspect it’s partially genetic and partially from my brain “erasing” traumatic childhood events. (seriously I don’t remember a lot of things from my childhood). Either way, just wanted to remind people that I don’t mean it if I forget who y’all are. ESPECIALLY WHEN Y’ALL CHANGE SCREEN NAMES. You’ll just have to remind me a few times.
